Come meet Oshkosh's mayor, Lori Palmeri. Hear about what she has overcome to get where she is today. Council Member Lori Palmeri was elected to the Oshkosh Common Council in April 2016. She currently serves as Commissioner for the East Central Regional Planning Commission and on the Regional Comprehensive Planning Committee, Chair of the Oshkosh Redevelopment Authority, Parks Advisory Board, City of Oshkosh Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee, and State WAPA Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee. She has served on the Oshkosh Planning Commission, Sustainability, Transit, Parking, Rental Housing, Bike & Pedestrian Advisory Board, Oshkosh Housing Authority, Grand Opera House Foundation, Day by Day Warming Shelter, Oshkosh Healthy Neighborhood Alliance, and was a Co-founder of the Middle Village Neighborhood Association.
Council Member Lori Palmeri has provided planning support for non-profits in northern and southeastern Wisconsin since 2009. She currently works for a medical courier service. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Urban and Regional Studies, and her Masters of Urban Planning Degree from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Lori has been a resident of Oshkosh since 2008, is married to Tony Palmeri. She has two adult children and two grandchildren.
