Join us for "Keeping Our Neighborhoods Safe using the Free, Relay App" with a presentation from Crime Prevention officer Kate Mann from the Oshkosh Police Department. The Free Relay App is an app that allows citizens to report non-emergency situations directly to patrol officers. Citizens can also include photos of the scene/person/vehicle they are reporting about and message back and forth with the responding officer with updates. Relay has a Broadcast feature that keeps residences up to date about active situations, missing people, traffic alerts, etc.
Attendees are asked to download the Relay App prior to the presentation. The Relay app can be found under the App Store or Google Play and is listed under “Relay: Neighborhood Safety” About the speaker: Officer Kate Mann heads the Crime Prevention Unit of the Oshkosh Police Department, and is part of the Professional Standards Division within the Administrative Bureau.
