What will be your take aways?

• Sourdough starter

• 2 loaves of your own designer bread to be baked at home upon rising!

• Step by step sourdough instructions and recipes

What do you need to bring?

• Full length apron

• 2 baking pans (9" x 5" x 2 ½")

• 1 large bowl (glass or plastic) ~ 4 quart size

• Large mixing spoon

• Measuring spoons

• All the ingredients will be provided except for the flavorings for the participants—-You will need to provide your own flavorings!

Suggested quantities per loaf of bread;

Dried fruit 1 cup per loaf

Cheeses 1 cup per loaf

Sun dried tomatoes or pesto 8 oz

Spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, etc.); 4 TBSP per loaf

Dried herbs  (oregano, basil, etc.) 3-4 tablespoons or less just bring the whole jar/pkg

I have used fresh lavender and fresh rosemary with good results.

Fresh herbs like basil or parsley add too much moisture to the bread recommending dried herbs.

Regular sourdough bread is good also!

• Pen for taking notes
